As you already know, Boston Public Schools has committed to providing dual-platform Apple MacBooks to classroom teachers for instructional use through the district's Laptops for Learning (L4L) program. As part of L4L, BPS has partnered with Boston College to help evaluate the impacts of the program and provide information to the greater educational community about how teachers use these technologies.
In a moment you will begin a short survey concerning your use of educational technology. Please note that all survey responses will be kept entirely anonymous and confidential with no identifying information appearing in any form to BPS administration or in any subsequent report. To encourage your participation, any BPS school with over 80% of their teachers completing the survey will be entered in a drawing for a free catered faculty lunch. In addition, all teachers who provide their name at the end of the survey will be entered in a drawing for a new iPod. Your participation in this study is critical and we greatly appreciate your time and effort.
